Dr. Scott French

Dr. Scott French

Dr. French was born and raised in North Platte. He graduated from North Platte High School in 1987 and UNL in 1991. He then graduated from the Indiana College of Optometry in 1995. He practiced for a couple years in O’Neill, Ne before moving back to North Platte in 1997 to join Dr. Baxter and Dr. O’Connor at Complete EyeCare Associates. Dr. French has served on the Nebraskaland Days Board of Directors, the NP Chamber of Commerce, the Mid-Plains Community College Foundation Board, and the NP Ambassadors. He and his wife Sherry have 2 children. When not working he enjoys traveling, golf, hunting and fishing.

Dr. Jeff O'Connor

 Dr. Jeff O'Connor

Dr. O’Connor was born and raised in North Platte. He graduated from North Platte St. Pat’s in 1977, Kearney College in 1982 and the Illinois College of Optometry in 1987. He then moved back to North Platte to form Complete EyeCare Associates with Dr. James TenEyck and Dr. Kim Baxter. He has served on the Nebraskaland Days Board of Directors, North Platte Ambassadors, the Devco Development Board, Sertoma, the Red Cross Board of Directors, and the North Platte Catholic Schools Endowment Board.

He and his wife Robyn have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. When he’s not working he enjoys a game of golf, traveling and spending time with family.

GosnellDr. John Gosnell

Dr. John Gosnell was born and raised in North Platte, Nebraska. He graduated from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Indiana college of Optometry in 1998. Dr. Gosnell earned his MBA from the University of Nebraska in 2020.

Dr. Gosnell practiced in Indiana and Iowa before returning to Nebraska, where he started Lake Avenue Eyecare in Gothenburg in 2002. He practiced there for 20 years before joining Complete Eyecare Associates. He is a member of the Nebraska Optometric Association as well as the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Gosnell has served on the Nebraskaland Days board of directors and is a current member of the Cody Cavalry. He is an avid supporter of all Husker athletic teams. He and his wife, Dr Wendy Gosnell, have raised three boys and enjoy being outdoors and traveling in their spare time.
